The conference was devoted to the new EU research and innovation programme Horizon Europe and gathered high-level experts, policy makers, managers of scientific institutions, scientists and others. The opening address was given by the President of the Republic of Latvia, Egils Levits, and the concept of Horizon Europe was presented by Jean-Eric Paquet, Director-General for Research and Innovation. The first conference day was devoted to the discussion about Latvia’s achievements in the EU research and innovation programme Horizon 2020, but topicalities of the next programme Horizon Europe and requirements for drafting and implementing projects were presented by representatives of the European Commission during the second day of the conference. In total, 330 participants like scientists, university representatives, and public sector officials participated in this two-day event.

We were in charge of the full technical equipment (sounds, presentations, simultaneous interpreting), catering, translation services, live broadcast and video editing, registration of participants, promotional gifts (banners, pens, pencils, notepads). We also provided for the moderators’ work, photograph services, and LED display screens necessary for the exhibition “Latvian Scientists”.
