One of the tasks for the mid-term evaluation of the implementation efficiency of the communication strategy 2015–2023 for the programming period 2014–2020 of the EU Structural Funds and Cohesion Fund, which was carried out in 2020, was to verify the conclusions drawn and formulate recommendations together with the employees of institutions engaged in the communication related to EU Structural Funds.
After the discussions on the conclusions about the efficiency of the current communication, our experts organised a design thinking workshop to encourage communication specialists to look at the problem from the point of view of their target group, when planning communication measures for EU Structural Funds investments. We invited them to assess the needs, information consumption behaviour and preferred information channel of the society, since it is the key to an efficient communication measures plan.
