Comics about the importance of the Central Statistical Bureau’s survey on violence
Violence is a topic discussed reluctantly, especially with strangers, like interviewers. But, if we do not speak about violence, it is hard to make the changes to reduce it. To improve participation in the Central Statistical Bureau’s survey about violence, our experts offered addressing the potential survey participants using comics that explain the importance of the survey.
Together with the Bureau’s experts, we prepared a series of four comics for the Bureau’s social network accounts and website according to the topics of the Gender-Related Violence Survey: sexual harassment at work, interpersonal violence which includes physical, sexual, economical and emotional violence by a partner and physical and sexual violence by persons who are not partners (relatives, friends, acquaintances, colleagues, strangers, and others), physical and sexual abuse in childhood, stalking.
Having studied the topics, our experts developed the concept, text and visual design of each comic story.
