The European Research Area Network on cardiovascular diseases (ERA-CVD) allows the scientists of the European Union to conduct researches on the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. At the end of research projects, a conference and a networking event for the new scientists were held in Riga together with an exhibition of research posters. The Symposium gathered research project representatives, new scientists and representatives of organisations financing research (90 participants in presence at the University of Latvia and 7 participants remotely).
For the meeting, we provided for the premises, technical equipment for a hybrid event, Zoom broadcast for two days, ensured catering, transportation of the participants, organised a cultural event (a guided tour with the river boat Vecrīga), photographing of the event, and a parallel event—the poster exhibition.
